# Kirkwall ![[Kirkwall.jpeg|600]] Kirkwall is separated into two different districts: - College District: home to [[Kirkwall Tower]] - Market District: home to various shops, businesses, and homes ## Outside of the Loop *You peaked your head out into a desolate, torn apart version of the Kirkwall you’ve seen in the loop.* *The air is stagnant and seems to be full of a fine grey dust that coats your nostrils and lungs. The air itself feels heavy and strained. Your breath curls the dust particles in front of you.* *The sky is blotted out by clouds that seem unnatural and caught in a gust that seems to be stuttering. No matter how hard the wind blows, the clouds never part to reveal the sky. Without any light from the sun, the world around you is bathed in unnatural darkness that blankets the dreary scenery.* *The water in the canal is still, yet you feel like you can still hear the sloshing of the waves you’ve become acquainted with in the time loop. What once was a fun reprieve from lessons was now a murky, almost foreboding body of still, grey water.* *You seem to be the only one around, but you get a tingle down your spine at the faint feeling of ~evil. However, it’s not in every element of this place. Aside from the whisper of something wicked here’s most of the vibes you feel are of one you are familiar with: the land itself feels STUCK.
